What's inside#
- 70+ items in eight areas: structure, state and data, performance, accessibility, security, errors and observability, testing and tooling, release
- Every item marked Must (release blocker) or Should (plan it)
- A guide to where each kind of state should live
- Core Web Vitals "good" thresholds with typical fixes
- A release sign-off block
How to use it#
- Run through it before a first launch, a major release, or when inheriting a codebase.
- Count unchecked Must items; the goal is zero.
- Put unchecked Should items on the plan with dates.
- Re-run it every quarter or major release.
Limitations#
- It's framework-agnostic; follow your framework's own guidance where it differs.
- Automated checks don't catch all accessibility problems; test manually too.
- It doesn't replace a security review for apps handling sensitive data.
