About Letinix
Letinix helps builders understand, compare, and use modern software, AI, and automation tools.
Letinix is an independent technology publication for people who build with software: developers, AI application builders, automation practitioners, technical founders and the engineers who choose their tools. Most readers arrive with one concrete question. Our job is to answer it clearly, quickly and honestly.
What we publish
Articles are organized by what you’re trying to get done. Analyze comes in two forms: Deep Dives, which make and defend a technical argument, and Research Radar, which explains what academic and industry research actually found. Now and then we also publish shorter pieces that sit outside these categories.
Beyond articles, we build free tools that run in your browser, share resources you can download and reuse, and send a newsletter when there is something worth your time.
Implement, integrate, deploy.
Choose the right tool or plan.
Evidence-led technical analysis.
Automate workflows with AI and integrations.
Skills, interviews and learning paths.
We also build free Tools that run in your browser and publish Resources you can reuse.
How we work
Our principle is simple: Evidence > Hype.
- We give you the answer, verdict or thesis early, then the detail.
- We check prices, plans, features, versions and technical behavior against primary sources such as official documentation, pricing pages, release notes and original papers, and we link them close to the claim.
- When information changes often, we say when we checked it.
- We tell you what kind of evidence you’re reading.
Evidence labels
- Documented: described in official documentation or another primary source.
- Vendor claim: what a company says about its own product, not independently confirmed.
- Reported: a result or test published by an identified third party, under their conditions.
- Expected / illustrative: what should happen, or an example written to explain an idea. Not something we ran.
- Verified: something the author actually ran, tested or observed, under the conditions stated.
What we never do
- Claim to have tested, used, deployed or benchmarked something we haven’t.
- Invent screenshots, output, statistics, quotes, customers or experiences.
- Copy or closely paraphrase other people’s articles, code, diagrams or tutorials.
- Present a vendor’s marketing as an independent finding.
- Let an affiliate link or a sponsor decide a verdict.
Research coverage
In Research Radar we read the original paper wherever it’s available, explain the method and its limitations, and say whether a study is a preprint, peer-reviewed or vendor research. If we only had access to a summary, we say so.
Our tools
Letinix tools run in your browser and explain their method, assumptions and limits. Tools that rely on prices or model data show when that data was last checked and where it came from. The tools do not send what you type to us.
AI assistance
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and editing. Every article is reviewed by a human editor before it’s published, and the standards on this page apply however a draft was produced. AI output is treated as a claim to check, never as a source.
Updates and corrections
“Published” is the date an article first went live. “Updated” appears only when we make a substantive change, such as new facts, changed steps or a revised verdict, and never for cosmetic edits. If we correct an error that affects meaning, we add a short note in the article explaining what changed.
How Letinix makes money
Letinix is free to read, and so are the tools and the newsletter. It is funded by display advertising and, in some articles, affiliate links. If we offer paid resources, they are sold through a platform such as Gumroad. Here is how each works and how we keep money away from our conclusions.
Advertising
Letinix shows display ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are labeled “Advertisement”. Depending on where you are and the choices you make, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show personalized or non-personalized ads. Where it’s available, you can change your choices at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. We don’t choose individual ads, and an ad on a page is not an endorsement. Ads never appear inside or beside a tool’s inputs or results.
Affiliate links
Some articles, mostly comparisons and guides, include affiliate links. If you buy or subscribe through one, Letinix may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When an article contains affiliate links, it says so at the top, and those links are marked for search engines as sponsored.
Affiliate relationships never decide a recommendation. We compare options on the same criteria, include the drawbacks of the products we recommend, and recommend free or non-affiliate options when they’re the better fit.
Resources
Free resources are free to download, use and adapt under the license shown on each resource page. Paid resources, if we offer them, are sold on the seller’s checkout page, which shows the price and its own terms.
Sponsored content
We don’t currently publish sponsored articles. If we ever do, they will be clearly labeled “Sponsored” at the top, and the sponsor will not control our conclusions.
Free access and paid work
If a company gives us free access to a product we write about, or has paid Letinix or the author for other work, we say so in the article.
Who’s behind Letinix
Letinix is written and edited by one person.
